With less acidity and a more creamy texture than our dry Rieslings the dry Weisser Burgunder / Pinot Blanc from GHB has a lightness of touch that makes it stand out from the great majority of German, French and Italian whites from this grape. That’s married to a bright red apple aroma, plus hints of tropical fruits and fresh nuts. The finish is slightly soft.

Ideal with white asparagus prepared the German way (poached and served with melted butter/hollandaise plus boiled new potatoes), or with fresh spring vegetables. Also, good with all kinds of pasta dishes, as long as the sauce isn’t really spicy. A fine choice with Parma ham and similar air-dried hams too.
